Job Responsibilities:
∎ Determine & support execution of the security and safety strategy.
∎ Establish and implement short and long range security and safety goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, standards and operating procedures; monitor and evaluate effectiveness, and the changes required for improvement that will ensure the highest level of security for staff and assets and the lowest risk of loss and liability to the organization.
∎ Accomplish security risk assessment of the company and set appropriate plan to reduce organization's security & safety related risk;
∎ Provide leadership and direction in all areas of security, security best practices and security programs/initiatives; collaborates with internal and external groups/stake holders to effectively resolve security related issues.
∎ Maintain regular liaison and establish good relations with all the law enforcement agencies especially with the concerned officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs in the interest of the organization.
∎ Maintain liaison with political figures at all levels in order to make the external administrative work of the organization faster and more efficient and to maintain constant contact with all political figures from the grassroots to the highest level in the project and project office areas of the organization.
∎ Supervise all types of case litigation of the organization such as date of case, attendance, settlement of case, withdrawal of case, withdrawal of warrant etc. and take appropriate steps to resolve these issues so that no untoward incident arises at any stage.
∎ Submit updated reports of all types of lawsuits/litigation/case of the organization to the management authorities regularly.
∎ Monitor security conditions and conduct ongoing analysis of data received from both external and internal sources, and formulate appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
∎ Oversee incident response planning as well as the investigation of security breaches, and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary.
∎ Ensure compliance with regulatory or statutory laws, organization's policies and top management's expectations; keep liaise with local, and state law enforcement and other related government agencies.
∎ Other job as and when assigned by Top Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 45 years
∎ Retired Major or above ranked from Bangladesh Army / Retired Cadre base officer from Bangladesh police will get preference.
∎ More than 15 years experienced in Security and Corporate Affairs at Real Estate sector or Group of companies will get preference.
∎ Gun license will get prior preferability.
∎ Knowledge on Real Estate related issues.
