Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
∎ Diploma/ Post Graduation Diploma in textile technology/ Merchandising/ Fashion Designing will be an added advantage
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Communication with buyer, factory people, other related departments/sections of the company.
∎ Costing of products.
∎ Follow the process & procedures of buyers.
∎ Supervision, costing, and pricing of the product and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
∎ Overseeing the update on production status, sampling, lab dips information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyer.
∎ Monitoring the status of approval/ per-production/delivery.
∎ Advice factory / production / quality team on fabric, production, quality etc related technical issues as efficient/experienced troubleshooter.
∎ Effective follow-up on materials inventory, production process, quality standards & team performance.
∎ Must be creative and have a strong understanding of the products.
∎ Proper execution of orders according to planned 'Time and Action Plan' on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
∎ Should be capable of new business development & promotion with fresh Buyer.
∎ Should have good connection with the buyers.
∎ Ability to work under pressure;
∎ Work independently & must be target oriented
∎ Should have design and R&D knowledge
∎ Frequent traveling experience and ability to work directly with retailer or importer
∎ Any other jobs assigned by the top management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ Ability to communicate effectively, Able to work under pressure, Apparel merchandising, Fabric Costing, Garment Marketing
∎ Having experience to work with under any Liaison Office or Buying / Sourcing House.
∎ Skills Required: Ability to communicate effectively, Ability to lead and manage team, Ability to Work Under Pressure.
∎ New buyer sourcing.
∎ Asian Foreigner / local persons welcome
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Should be able to work on own initiative under pressure with set target.
∎ Should have proven leadership and inter-personal skills with capacity to anticipate and provide solutions to the problems.
∎ Should be proficient in the use of computer including MS Word, Excel, Internet, etc. Expertise in SAP will be considered as an added advantage.
∎ Should be fluent in both spoken and written communications in English.
∎ Ability to speak Hindi would be an added advantage.
∎ Excellent written communication skill required.
∎ Experienced to handle European and USA retails business
∎ Any foreign candidates will be preferred in this position
