8-12 years’ experience required in relevant field.
Experience in Agro Business Sales and Operation Management in a reputed company.
Proficient in data analysis, planning, and team leadership.
1. Business Development
· Oversee end-to-end business development and operations for vegetable cultivation, harvesting, livestock management, and sales.
· Set and achieve business objectives and targets, manage budgets, P&L, and financial forecasts, and drive market growth and profitability.
· Supervise procurement, logistics, and supply chain efficiency while ensuring cost control and productivity.
2. Sales & Marketing (Local & Export)
· Identify opportunities, negotiate contracts, and develop sales strategies for domestic and international markets.
· Build relationships with distributors, retailers, export partners, and modern trade channels (e.g., Shwapno, Meena Bazar, Agora).
· Conduct market research to track pricing, customer trends, and competitor activity.
3. Operations, Production & Performance Management
· Plan, schedule, and supervise vegetable cultivation, harvesting, and livestock management for optimal yield and quality.
· Implement modern agricultural practices and coordinate with farm managers, agronomists, and logistics teams.
· Monitor input usage, labor, and production costs to maximize efficiency.
· Set performance goals, track KPIs, foster accountability, teamwork, and staff development.
· Collect and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports to top management.
4. Compliance & Sustainability
· Ensure adherence to agricultural best practices, food safety, environmental regulations, and export standards.
· Promote sustainable farming, ethical labor, and responsible resource management.
5. Training & Development
· Ensure training and skill development for farm managers, in-charges, and supervisors.
· Monitor and evaluate performance post-training.
