Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
∎ Master's in Accounting /Finance/MBA in Finance with Professional (FCMA,ACMA from ICMAB/FCA,ACA from ICAB) Accounting qualification
∎ Skills Required: English proficiency, Excellent leadership skills, Negociation Skill
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Computer skill, Finance/ Accounts, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Financial and Accounts Role:
∎ Prepare monthly Global and Local Financial Statement to meeting Global Deadlines of Corporate Reporting
∎ Prepare Annual Financials for meeting local deadlines for all regulatory filings for Bangladesh.
∎ Budget and cost monitoring to achieve target and follow up with regional office
∎ Yearly Tax reporting for Income tax return, transfer pricing auditing and filing with the consultant
∎ Daily monitoring cash flow, receivable and inventory to optimize working capital
∎ Costing of the product imported
∎ Check the pricing to ensure profitability
∎ Monitor day to day receipts and payment, invoicing transaction
∎ Reconciling books of accounts, bank weekly/ monthly
∎ Work as one signatories to approve various payment in cash and Bank
∎ Follow up Value Added Tax (VAT), withholding tax return submission on time
∎ Assists Country Manager in various decision making process with analysis and data
∎ Collections from receivables and due monitoring with ageing analysis.
∎ Foreign remittance collection on time
∎ Make necessary provision on accounts considering uncertainty
∎ Communicate the financial message of the company from the group to every employees regarding budget, cost savings, policy changes
∎ Managing various yearly and monthly Audit
∎ Secretarial:
∎ Board meeting resolution preparation and maintains register
∎ Ensure the annual return submission to the registrar of joint stock companies and firms
∎ Commercial Function:
∎ Managing commercial issue of with Bank- Letter of Credit (LC) opening , draft confirmation ,amendment ,documents endorsement , document release
∎ Managing Import - Collection of Invoice ,all the shipping documents, Letter of Credit Insurance
∎ Managing Customers commercial issue, like Letter of Credit, Import and export documentation follow up
∎ Managing Clearing and Forwarding agent
∎ Local procurements , negotiations, Comparative statement, work order issue
∎ Employees compensation benefit management in compliance with regional guideline
∎ Payroll preparation and disbursement
∎ Support employees in regards Employees performance management
∎ Monitoring leave and attendance database management.
∎ Follow up statutory and legal compliance ..
∎ Confirm insurance for all the employees, ensure inclusion and exclusion
∎ Managing Gratuity fund, work as Trustee board member for gratuity and PF fund
∎ Provide support to sales and service department in respect of Travel, arranging Events.
∎ Execution of Administration policy formulation
∎ Communicate and coordinate with regional IT for support
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ 8-10 years of experience in accounting field of which 3 years in Managerial position
∎ Experience in working and dealing experience with Audit firms
∎ Good written and oral Communication English and Bengali
∎ Ability to work independently
∎ Very good in accounting knowledge and conversant with accounting software
∎ Good in Microsoft office and technically savvy
∎ Business Acumen and leadership skill
∎ Negotiation and problem-solving skill
∎ Hard working and Meeting deadlines
∎ Analytical and Attention to details
∎ Knowledge regarding local and international accounting standard
∎ Good rapport with local accounting body
