Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop creative and visually appealing designs for products such as apparel, textiles, and accessories.
∎ Collaborate with clients, merchandisers, and other stakeholders to understand design requirements and objectives.
∎ Stay updated on the latest design trends and incorporate them into product concepts.
∎ Ensure that the graphic designs align with the brand identity and messaging of the clients or retailers the buying house is working with.
∎ Maintain consistency in design elements across various products to enhance brand recognition.
∎ Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to communicate design specifications and requirements.
∎ Provide detailed design briefs and specifications to ensure accurate and high-quality production of goods.
∎ Review and approve graphic design samples produced by manufacturers to ensure they meet the client's standards and specifications.
∎ Work closely with the quality control team to address any issues or modifications needed.
∎ Utilize graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create and edit designs.
∎ Ensure files are formatted correctly for production and maintain an organized file management system.
∎ Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor designs, and consumer preferences.
∎ Use market insights to create designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also commercially viable.
∎ Work within tight timelines to meet production and delivery schedules.
∎ Coordinate with various departments, including merchandising and production, to ensure timely completion of design-related tasks.

∎ Provide design support for marketing and sales materials as needed.
