Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategy & Management:
∎ Develop, oversee and manage the company’s Information Technology strategy, direction and budget.
∎ Work directly with the company’s executive/management team and decision makers in key areas of the practice to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost effective technology solutions for all aspects of the company (e.g., cloud computing, mobile technology solutions).
∎ Monitor technology changes in the marketplace and ensure the company’s systems capabilities are responsive to the needs of the company’s growth and objectives.
∎ Lead the development and implementation of all information technology initiatives across all areas of the company.
∎ Report to the director on matters related to strategic IT projects.
∎ Establish and document a set of structured processes to deliver IT support and to manage the overall IT function.
∎ Maintain Asset Management and Tracking system and ensure that all new technology acquisitions are approved and monitored according to company standards.
∎ Maintain the Vendor Management process including conducting regular performance reviews.
∎ Applications, Data & Infrastructure:
∎ Plan, coordinate, develop and implement information systems applications / technologies / processes to support multi-functions, such as Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, etc. by preparing and maintaining long range information systems tactical plans.
∎ Establish a base set of service level standards and manage the company’s IT infrastructure to ensure these service levels are achieved and meeting business needs.
∎ Ensure that all external technology providers deliver services aligned with their SLAs or contracts and continually scan the marketplace for these services to ensure that the company is getting the best value while meeting business requirements.
∎ People:
∎ Coach, mentor, recruit, train and measure IT department staff on all operational activities to ensure performance levels meet company standards and initiatives are met.
∎ Establish cross-training programs to ensure that the company is not exposed to any single points of risk.
∎ Manage and appropriately staff the company’s information technology team and take a hands-on role in the day-to-day activities of the department.
∎ Security, Privacy & Backup:
∎ Ensure the security of the information systems, communication lines and equipment.
∎ Direct the information and data integrity of the company and its business units.
∎ Oversee and manage the development, review and certification of backup and disaster recovery procedures and plans.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 2/3 years’ experience in a General Manager position
∎ Deep and broad technical knowledge of information technology, computer Hardware systems and software, and the ability to manage the entire spectrum of information technology operations.
∎ Must have knowledge about modern technology stack like- 5G and Wi Fi 6 technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), Augmented reality and virtual reality, Cloud computing, Digital transformation, Intent-based networking (IBN),Internet of Things (IoT) etc.
∎ Strong negotiation skills.
∎ Ability to influence others and effect change.
∎ Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
∎ Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
∎ Experience with scripting and automation tools
∎ Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role
∎ Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
∎ Knowledge of Linux & Windows, Information security, cloud, Mac, Cisco, MicroTik, networking, Scripting, programming, clustering, High availability, fault-tolerance, and storage backup.
∎ Need to have strong interpersonal skills, a good listener, especially when problems arise.
∎ Ability to manage multiple troubleshooting at the same time and capability to work independently.
∎ Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
∎ Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
∎ Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
∎ Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one time.
∎ Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Mac OS.
∎ Time management skills, Strong interpersonal and communications skills, Strong strategic thinking ability along with good analytical skills, networking skills, and must be a Team Player.
∎ Must have nice communication skills as per IT company standards.
