Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in Women studies, Social work, gender studies, humanitarian affairs, human rights, development studies, international relations, and/or other related social science disciplines from a recognized University.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5-7 years of field experience, including experience in GBV program management and protection/GBV coordination.
∎ Experience designing and managing GBV project in an NGO (recommended).
∎ Experience leading inter-agency coordination mechanisms with a wide range of stakeholders.
∎ Experience with proposal writing, reporting and M&E.
∎ Awareness and demonstrable knowledge of how GBV manifests in humanitarian settings and ability to describe context-specific prevention and response actions.
∎ Demonstrable knowledge of the critical components to facilitate effective inter-agency coordination.
∎ Experience working with youth-centered activities preferred.
∎ Experience working with implementing partners preferred.
∎ Relevant contextual experience strongly preferred.
∎ Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
∎ Fluency in English is preferable.
∎ Experience in Program planning, implementation and capacity development.
∎ Human Resources Management and Training.
∎ Ability to exercise sound judgment, to remain flexible to a changing environment, and to make decisions independently.
∎ Ability to work well within a cross-cultural team.
