Job Context:
∎ Position Title: GBV Coordinator
∎ Location: Ramu, Ukiah, Teknaf and Rohingya Refugee Camp : 15 Under Cox`s Bazar dist. Bangladesh
∎ Reports to : Program Director and Project Manager
∎ Total project duration - 08 Months but initially Up to May 2021, full-time position (With possibility of contract extension)

∎ Operational/Context Role:

∎ AGRAJATTRA is looking for an experience, competent and dedicated GBV Coordinator for the project titled "Prevention of GBV and Improve Health, Livelihood and Psychological Well-being of Host and Rohingya Community at CXB, Bangladesh". The project is funded by Médecins du Monde France (MdM) - France. The project components are Mental Health and Psychological Support Service (MHPSS), Gender Based Violence (GBV), Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR) and Livelihood development. The project will be implemented at Host Community and Rohingya community of Cox`s Bazar. The GBV Coordinator will be responsible for overall management and operation of GBV andsupport to SRHR related activities at Rohingya and host community (Ramu, Ukhiya and Teknaf Upazila). The services will be provided to the survivors through Community Resource Center (CRC) and Rural Community Mobilization on prevention of GBV violence and creating access to health services specially SRHR aspects. She will be responsible for - Planning, implementation, monitoring, supervision, coordination, documentation, IEC material development on GBV/SRHR aspects and reporting regular basis as per donor requirement and Sector requirement at Cox`s Bazar. The GBV Coordinator pays 60% physical visits to the project activities in the field.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Program Planning, Implementation and Management:
∎ Develop action plan for implementing the project activities and ensuring quality standard towards achieving the project results
∎ Develop guidelines and implementation strategy of (i) Community Protection Group (CPG) formation and action, (ii) Adolescent club formation and operation, (iii) Youth Group formation and fictionalization,
∎ Develop IEC materials (Poster, Leaflets) on GBV, SRHR in consultation with the GBV SS and the HEALTH sector at Cox's Bazar and Others sectoral actors;
∎ Coordinate Needs Assessment for the "Prevention of GBV and Improve Health, Livelihood and Psychological Well-being of Host and Rohingya Community at CXB, Bangladesh". Project and the preparation of reports;
∎ Follow Agrajattra and Donor guidelines, policies and procedures and ensure that all applicable organizational policies have been properly applied by project staff;
∎ Identify and report trends and risks that survivors face in the HC/ RR camps and recommend next steps to address any emerging risks and issues;
∎ Identify the capacity/ knowledge gaps of community volunteers/ caseworkers/ midwife/ case managers and ensure appropriate measures and actions that contribute to achieve project objectives/ results, including trainings
∎ Train staff, including volunteers on GBV principles, response and referral
∎ Provide guidance to the staff for consultation meeting with the refugee community protection group;
∎ Support the formation of Community Protection CPG, and GBV prevention training,
∎ Ensure that GBV awareness and access to services is rooted in the community, i and ensure linkages between AGRAJATTRA's case management work, protection committees in the host community and Camp 15, and beneficiary feedback mechanisms;
∎ Organize and execution of exposure visit of youth platform group for sharing learning towards preventing GBV issues in their local territories and educational institutions;
∎ Follow up on good case management coordination for GBV survivors at CRC under MHPSS counseling sessions;
∎ Ensure Project Visibility about GBV IEC materials and all Bill board and Event management project activity;
∎ Engaged with MDM project Mapping SRH & other services at community-level (Camp and HC);
∎ Lead to select beneficiaries for distribute dignity & hygiene kits to the young women/ adolescent girls;
∎ Closely work with Protect Manager, psychologist, case manager, counselor and midwife/ paramedic
∎ Liaise with the admin and finance team to execute the plan accordingly through ensuring necessary logistics and necessary budget as per requirement for program
∎ Any Other duties as assigned by project management.
∎ 2. Different Training, Meeting and Session Facilitation:
∎ Develop training module and guideline for capacity building of adolescent clubs, Youth Groups and Community Protection Groups
∎ Support case manager/ case workers for organizing different training under the project and facilitation diverse training as per action plan
∎ Conduct training on GBV, and support SRHR training needs both in Rohingya and Host Community
∎ Generate training report in the lights of qualitative and quantitative aspects
∎ 3. Effective communication and coordination (Internal and external) :
∎ Coordination and collaboration with UNO office, Union Parishad, CIC office and different sectoral NGOs/ stakeholders both Host and Rohingya camp (CP, Gender hubs, GiHA & Protection)
∎ Coordinate with other actors to ensure referral and the transfer of cases where Agrajattra does not have the capacity or specialized support
∎ Develop networking and rapport building with GOs, NGOs and Private sector actors for achieving project goal and objectives as per planned schedule
∎ Regularly attend/ participate different coordination meeting at Upazila level as well as in Camp level specially CIC coordination meeting
∎ Organize and facilitation experience/knowledge/ idea sharing meetings with local NGOs, stakeholders and ensure the efficient use of resources
∎ Coordinate with respective sector for participating towards implementing planned events in the project namely 16th days activism 2020 and international women rights day 2021
∎ Coordinate with local political leaders, civil society members and Govt. high potential officer towards smooth operation of project activities in the field
∎ 4. Monitoring, Documentation and Report Generation :
∎ Follow-up and Monitor day-to-day activities of case manager and case workers to ensure best practice is adhered to in provision of psycho-social and case management support services to project beneficiaries
∎ Produce 5W report to GBVIMS in collaboration with GBV sector and respective project staff
∎ Monitoring Data entry into CPIMS+ GBVIMS
∎ Documentation of best practices and ensure replication where possible
∎ 5. Reporting to :
∎ Keep the Program Director (PD) and Project Manager informed on the activities of the project by providing relevant correspondence, reports and meeting minutes as well as making regular updates about GBV issues of the project.
∎ Responsible for prompt submission of regular milestone, periodic, and final reports to the Program Director (PD) and Project Manager.
∎ Lead preparation of reports to the donor and to the government
∎ 6. Networking :
∎ Represent Agrajattra at the ISCG sectors meeting like Case Management Working Group and GiHA, GBV, Gender hub sub Sectors, Protection and appropriate forum; Others relevant (Donor/Gov't/Stakeholders) areas.
∎ 7. Leadership Behavior :

Additional Requirements:

∎ Experience:
∎ At least 07 years working experience in development program.
∎ Out of total experience 02-years' experience in GBV, SRHR and Livelihood development issues in camp and Host community at Cox's Bazar
∎ Demonstrated experience and commitment to working with marginalized communities.
∎ Experience in child protection in protracted crisis / early recovery a significant advantage
∎ Working Experience in Rohingya camps is a significant advantage and at most requirement
∎ Upholds humanitarian values and principles
∎ Language
∎ Fluency in English and Bangla (written and spoken) and excellent writing skills.
∎ Rohingya or Chittagonian language skills is a significant advantage
∎ Technical Skills
∎ Strong analytical, reporting, strategic thinking and planning skills
∎ Strong case management skills, follow up reporting and maintaining confidentiality
∎ Strong monitoring and evaluation skills/experience
∎ Knowledge of project cycle management.
∎ Strong knowledge about computer operates.

Salary: Tk. 45000 - 50000 (Monthly)
