Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities
Installation: Set up new furnaces and heating systems according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
Maintenance: Perform routine tune-ups, including cleaning burners, replacing filters, lubricating moving parts, and inspecting electrical connections.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults (e.g., faulty thermostats, motors, or heat exchangers) and perform necessary repairs or part replacements.
Safety Compliance: Identify maintenance risks and ensure all work adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and local appliance standards.
