Responsibilities & Context:
Core Responsibilities
Installations: Set up new furnaces and heating systems according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
Diagnosis & Troubleshooting: Use diagnostic tools to identify the root cause of system malfunctions, inadequate heat, or unusual noises.
Repairs: Replace or repair faulty components such as thermostats, motors, blower wheels, burners, and electrical connections.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine tune-ups (e.g., cleaning burners, replacing filters, lubricating moving parts) to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all gas, electrical, and ventilation operations meet safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
Customer Service: Explain system issues and recommended repairs to clients, and provide cost estimates
