Experience:

• At least 3 years

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

MBBS with a post-graduate degree FCPS / DGO in Gynecology & Obstetrics. Additional post graduate degree will get preference.

Must have a valid and active registration with the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC).

Job Context:

A reputed and modern private hospital and diagnostic center located in Dhaka is looking for to engage a dedicated and qualified Full-Time Consultant (Clinical Specialist) for its Gynecology Department. The candidate must possess excellent professional competence, capable of independent clinical judgment, and motivated to work align with our institutional environment

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide expert clinical consultations, accurate diagnoses, and comprehensive treatment to outpatients (OPD). Conduct regular inpatient (IPD) rounds, evaluate patient conditions, and manage follow-up care.

• Independently and efficiently perform all types of major and minor gynecological and obstetric surgeries (e.g., C-Sections, Hysterectomy, D&C, Laparoscopy, etc.) in the Operation Theater (OT).

• Expertly manage normal vaginal deliveries and promptly handle acute obstetric and gynecological emergencies with sound clinical judgment.

• Ensure 6 hours of daily physical attendance to fulfill the hospital's routine clinical schedule (as per the assigned timing, e.g., 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM).

• Remain available for emergency calls, on-call duties, and holiday coverage beyond routine hours based on critical patient needs and urgent hospital requirements.

• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely medical records, including detailed prescription documentation, OT notes, discharge summaries, and other institutional records.

• Supervise, guide, and mentor medical officers, nursing staff, and OT technicians to ensure high standards of pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care.

• Strictly adhere to the guidelines of the DGHS, BMDC regulations, and established hospital protocols. Maintain absolute professional integrity, patient safety, infection control, and a respectful, Shariah-compliant environment during practice.

• Collaborate fully with the hospital administration and promptly report any medical complications, adverse events, or medico-legal cases to the authority.

• Monitor critically referred patient to censure optimally clinical outcome at hospital were given

• Festival Bonus: 2

• Monthly Retainer Amount: BDT 1,00,000 (Taka One Lac) only.

• Incentives: Clinical / Procedure share amount as per hospital policy.

• Allowances: On-call allowance (applicable if assigned considering the specialty of the case).

• Facilities provided: Chamber/office space with associated services, nursing support, diagnostic support, hospital ID, and communication tools.

• Day off: one  day off per week, planned and adjusted according to the  duty roster.

• (Note: Tax will be deducted at source as per government tax laws).
