Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Front Office Manager coordinates work scheduling and deployment of personnel based on activity levels and controlling activities of the supervisors directly through giving directions and instructions are part of the operation
∎ Solve problems themselves doing HINTS details by department (staffing, complaints, organizational problems and the like)
∎ Ensure compliance of SOP and adapt them to the changing work
∎ Acting as the 'face' of the Front of House with the Operations Manager internally and externally
∎ Ensure proper handling of guests and complaints from guests and employees
∎ Ensure accurate information to other departments and sub-departments own
∎ Annual performance interviews with Supervisors
∎ Co-organizing staff outings and team building
∎ Role model the propagation of the Hotel Grand Park, Barishal Brand Culture
∎ Act as SPG coordinator of contact for all related issues
∎ Checking and marking of work schedules: monitoring the registration and handling of overtime and time for time
∎ Making Rounds across all sub departments, oversee order and cleanliness and compliance with service standards
∎ Initiating operational adjustments within certain sub departments with the aim of optimizing process, guest contact, service delivery, efficiency etc.
∎ Read every day the various handovers in order to identify problems in time and to nip in the bud.
∎ Attending meetings of the various department, general staff meetings, consultations
∎ The establishment of an active training policy by means identifying needs, coordinating the training itself and ensuring the proper registration together with the supervisors and HR
∎ The self-attend training and courses if required
∎ Keeping in touch with the hotel management and external parties about the strengths and trainees they provide
∎ Ensuring the spread on leave taking the holidays by the employees of the department, providing for a limited number of days saved up in order to achieve a favorable result on the P&L and equipped staff running around
∎ Promoting any kind of possible and desirable form of multi-skilling of employees in the department
∎ Undertaking motivating actions that aim to give a clear message to the people from which they feel valued
∎ Ideas application to improve the business organization in terms of staff, meeting structure, product etc.
∎ Also ensure proper recruitment of staff for the entire Front Office Department, in consultation of course with the HR department
∎ Present at morning meeting
∎ Personal guarantees 'PR' and expand to maintain contacts with other operational department (HSKP, sales, accounting, security etc.)
∎ Performing any other tasks that may reasonably be expected of you
∎ Any other duties assigned.
