Educational Requirements:
∎ M.Com in Accounting or Finance from Dhaka or Chittagong University or selective reputed Private Universities in Dhaka.
∎ Chartered Accountancy Course completed (CACC) applicants from a reputed CA firm would be given priority.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Hospitality and Tourism
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Hotel, Resort
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare annual Financial Operational Plan.
∎ Establish and Up-date financial policies, procedures/ systems/controls to implement the plan.
∎ Ensure Tax & VAT implications of all significant decisions are thoroughly examined.
∎ Responsible for Daily cash/fund management, Cost Control, accounts payable, etc.
∎ Prepare monthly Payroll statements.
∎ Ensure all hotel licenses/permits are renewed on a timely basis.
∎ Ensure compliance to all regulatory and statutory requirements.
∎ Maintaining working arrangement with local VAT officials.
∎ Closely scrutinize funds transfer and cash disbursement protocols within the organization.
∎ Preparation of monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements for MD's approval.
∎ Ensure capital assets purchases are recorded properly in the books of accounts.
∎ Monitor performance of employees under him and recommend action to human resources department when necessary.
∎ Regularly undertake internal audits, involving examination of the company's accounts, unearth any financial irregularities and recommending improvements in accounting practices.
∎ Ensure physical inventories of all purchases or supplies are taken on a daily basis & conduct monthly inventory control check and prepare month-end inventory statement.
∎ Prepare monthly P&L Statements, R&P statements and annual Balance Sheet.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 37 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have at least 2 - 5 years' experience as Financial Controller in any reputed company (Hospitality Sector will get preference).
Salary: Negotiable
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Higher salary may be considered for candidates who have worked in any reputed hotels or CACC passed
∎ Bonus equivalent to one month's Basic salary on each Eid holidays
