Job Context:
∎ United Purpose seeks a full time Finance Officer for a GIZ funded project "Mobilizing Rural Women Entrepreneurs for COVID-19 Response and Recovery in Bangladesh" at Jamalpur, Khulna, Noakhali & Khagrachari.
∎ The project aims at establishing cooperation among the WBCs, rural pharmacists and other healthcare facilities in each locality. With rural pharmacists, there will be a two-way relationship, where the rural pharmacists will refer their clients who need medical consultation to WBCs. After the consultation with healthcare professionals through telemedicine services facilitated by the WBCs, the beneficiaries will return to the rural pharmacist for purchasing the prescribed medicines. This creates an incentive for the pharmacies to make referrals, and it ensures that the patients receive the appropriate medication. Additionally, the WBCs may refer a beneficiary to community clinics and upazilla health complexes for more critical cases such as malnutrition.
