Job Context: An international NGO working in the field of Integrated and Sustainable Community Development, Disaster Response, Food Security, Community Health, Peace & Justice and both emergency aid and long-term rebuilding in natural and human-caused disasters invites applications from Bangladeshi nationals for the following position.

Name of the Position: Finance and Administration Officer

The purpose of the position is to provide support to partners, staff and finance management team in budgeting, various finance reporting, financial checking, internal auditing as well as partners financial training.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting, Book Keeping, Banking, Accounts Reconciliation statements prepare
  • (monthly, quarterly, and yearly).
  • Petty Cash maintain, voucher writing and software entry (quick book).
  • Fixed asset register maintain.
  • Yearly External Audit preparation and Facilitation
  • Fund disbursement etc.
  • Ability to communicate with Government offices.
  • Compose the government and other agencies letter in Bangla and English and
  • communicate with governments (NGO Bureau) offices.
  • Prepare and deposit Tax and VAT payments, as per government compliance.
  • Assure good liaison with government offices registration, project pro-formas, fund
  • release clearance, audit, and annual report submission. This includes the NGOAB-Bangladesh.
  • Field visits, monitoring and follow-up partners finance reporting and financial health
  • checking as well.
