∎ Job Context:
∎ TAHZINGDONG Organization for Environmental and Socio-economic Development - began its Journey in 1999 with it`s headquarter in Bandarban Hill District. TAHZINGDONG is devoted to empowering the most disadvantage and vulnerable people in CHT`s in order to bring them towards alternative development process for sustainable development.
∎ TAHZINGDONG is implementing the Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR) project in partnership with Arannayk Foundation. Sustainable program has worked to strengthen the capacity of CHT communities and protect the stability of the natural environment to combat the adverse effects of climate change.
∎ Employment Status: Full - time Project Staff
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in selection of project participants
∎ Organizing and Facilitating Community /group meetings
∎ Arranging training on institutional development and technical capacity development
∎ Providing accompaniment Support to the project beneficiaries in implementation of alternative income generating activities (AIGA) and other development activities
∎ Collection improved access of the farmers to markets and extension/ technical service providers.
∎ Assist in developing/strengthening local nurseries with native species and forest landscape restoration activities in VCFs, degraded hills, corridors and riparian areas.
∎ Assist in environmental awareness raising activities with the communities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have valid motorbike driving license and should be able to drive motorbike
∎ Able to speak in local dialect
∎ Computer knowledge
∎ Preferably from CHT
∎ Mentality to work in remote area
Salary:
∎ Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
∎ 30,000.00(thirty thousand) per month and other admissible benefit
