Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in Fashion Designing
∎ Skills Required: Adobe illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Deadline Driven, Excellent communication and presentation skills, Sketching, Teamwork and collaboration, textile technology
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Denim, Denim Design Development, Denim Garments Finishing, denim marketing, Fashion Designing., Sound knowledge of Denim Wash
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
E-commerce, Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design and develop denim garments, with a specific emphasis on jeans for men and women.
∎ Stay updated with current fashion trends and consumer preferences to create market-leading designs.
∎ Collaborate with the design team to create design concepts and mood boards.
∎ Create detailed technical sketches, illustrations, and tech packs using Adobe Illustrator.
∎ Conduct research on fabric, trims, and wash techniques to enhance product quality and aesthetics.
∎ Work closely with the production team to ensure design concepts are effectively translated into finished products.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and production, to ensure a cohesive brand image.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 35 years
∎ Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or relevant field.
∎ Proven experience of at least 3-4 years as a Fashion Designer with a specialization in denim garments.
∎ Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in denim design, specifically western jeans for men and women.
∎ Must have in-depth knowledge of denim fabric properties, wash techniques, latest trends & techniques, materials & accessories, vendors & suppliers etc.
∎ Expertise in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop with the ability to create detailed technical sketches & illustrations, creating design files & tech pack is a must.
∎ Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and sizing.
∎ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
∎ Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
