Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collaborate with fashion designers to understand their vision, advice, and requirements for motif designs.
∎ Research current fashion trends, industry techniques, and best practices related to digital print, screen printing and embroidery.
∎ Develop original and unique motif designs that reflect the fashion designer's aesthetic and brand identity.
∎ Create digital mock-ups and prototypes of motifs using graphic design software.
∎ Ensure that designs are technically feasible for screen printing, digital print and embroidery processes.
∎ Modify and refine designs based on feedback from fashion designers, considering factors such as color, scale, and placement.
∎ Prepare final design files with accurate specifications and color separations for production.
∎ Maintain an organized library of design assets and resources. Stay updated on emerging graphic design trends and technologies relevant to screen printing and embroidery.
