     Analytical and problem-solving ability to manage complex trade and financial tasks.

     Strong time-management skills and punctuality to meet deadlines.

     Interpersonal ability to efficiently collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Location: Full-time position(on-site at the Head Office), Dhaka, Bangladesh

Responsibilities

  • Assistingto open and process Letters of Credit (L/C) and to follow up on their issuance and

    settlement.

     Managing end-to-end import and export documentation, including Proforma Invoices (PI),

    Purchase Orders (PO), Letters of Credit (LC), Bills of Entry (BOE), etc.

     Maintaining liaison with government agencies, trade bodies, shipping lines, clearing &

    forwarding (C&F) agents, transporters, insurance companies, and banks to ensure smooth

    operations.

     Ensuring regulatory compliance for all shipments by coordinating customs clearances and

    adhering to VAT, BSTI, and other relevant regulations.

     Coordinating shipments and logistics- to track incoming goods, follow up on inventory at the

    warehouse, and ensure timely delivery and storage.

     Preparing financial documentation for import/export transactions, such as Payment Requisition

    Certificates (PRC), Foreign Documentary Debits (FDD), bank payment instruction letters, and

    retirement/issuance letters for L/C payments from export proceeds.

     Creating and sustaining relationships with suppliers and vendors, overseeing procurement

    processes, and negotiating favorable terms and pricing.

     Support overall commercial operations and perform other duties as assigned by the

    management.
