• Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
• Master of Commerce (MCom) in Finance

• At least Bachelor/ Master`s degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant discipline.

• 2 to 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies, Herbal Medicine

• Age 25 to 35 years

• At least 2/3 years of experience similar level

• Update knowledge on VAT Act-2012 and Rules – 2016

• Proficiency in VAT compliance procedures.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems.

• Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities.

• Effective communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Purpose

To ensure compliance with VAT regulations for the company’s manufacturing operations, maintain accurate VAT records, and support in VAT planning and management. This role is crucial for minimizing VAT related risks and ensuring alignment with government policies to support smooth operational functions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns (Mushak-9.1) online to VAT authorities.

• Ensure accurate record keeping in compliance with VAT Act 2012 & Rule 2016

• Maintain VAT-related books and records, including Mushak 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.5, 6.7, 6.8 and 6.10.

• Prepare VAT reconciliations, monitor VAT purchase and sales accounts, and ensure timely issuance of VAT invoices.

• Prepare input-output coefficients 4.3 and ensure proper recording of input tax credits.

• Maintain good relation with VAT authorities (VAT Commissionerate, Division and Circle Offices)

• Check & monitor about import AIT, VAT & assessable value calculation.

• Coordinate with internal departments (SCM, Sales. Accounts, Warehouse & others Factory) to ensure VAT compliance in all transactions.

• Sound knowledge Rebate, Penalty, Increasing & Decreasing adjustment.

• Any other works assigned by management.
