Education:

- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
MBA in Finance/Accounts will be an added qualification to be considered.

Skills Required: Customs Bond,VAT,Vat management,VMS
Additional Requirements:
Proficiency in relevant VAT Management Software (VMS)
Sound knowledge of the country`s VAT and related Acts and Rules (e.g., VAT & SD Act 2012 in Bangladesh)

Responsibilities & Context:
Maintain all necessary records and documentation related to VAT-able transactions, including VDS in VAT -software and VAT -online (NBR).
Prepare and submit timely monthly VAT returns (e.g., Mushak 9.1) VAT-online and in VAT -Software.
Monitor and ensure compliance with VAT ordinances and VAT software .and help identify and mitigate process loss and risks.
Assist in preparing for and managing VAT audits conducted by authorities like the NBR.
Communicate and liaise with VAT authorities, internal teams, and external auditors to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
Reconcile revenue and VAT balances in the general ledger, checking for discrepancies between accounting records and VAT returns.
Have sound knowledge in customs, bonded warehouse.
