Experience:

Fire Safety / Engineering background will get preference.
Professional certification/ training will be an added advantage.
• Fire Safety Manager Training from Fire Service & Civil Defense (FSCD).
• Training on Emergency Management / Fire Fighting / First Aid will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Emergency Management and Fire Safety practices.
• Hands on experience on OHSMS
• Experience in facing social compliance audits.
• Good knowledge of fire detection & suppression systems.
• Ability to organize fire drills and emergency evacuation programs.
• Good communication and reporting skills

Job Responsibilities:
· Implement and maintain Fire Safety Management System in the factory premises.
Ensure effective Emergency Preparedness & Response (EPR) procedures and conduct regular drills.
Monitor and maintain all fire detection, alarm and firefighting systems.
Coordinate fire safety training and awareness programs for employees.
Ensure compliance with local fire regulations, BNBC requirements, NFPA requirements, international standards and buyer buyers’ requirements.
Maintain required documentation related to fire safety and emergency management.
Coordinate with Fire Service & Civil Defense authorities as when required.
Participate in and support different types of social compliance audits (BSCI, SEDEX, ISO, Buyer COC, etc.).
Ensure the effectiveness of Emergency Response Team (ERT) including evacuation procedures and human sweepers.
Conduct regular fire risk assessments and corrective action follow-ups.
