Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Industrial Engineering or Textile Engineering from a reputed institution.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
IE for Washing Process in reputed denim washing industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and oversee layout of equipment, office, and production facilities, production schedule and reengineering the layout for better productivity.
∎ Analyze work-force assignment, facility layout, and operational data to determine efficient utilization of employees and equipment and recommend methods for improving employee efficiency and reducing wastage.
∎ Ensure the generation of accurate factory performance and trend reports including washing efficiency, washing performance, changeover effectiveness, capacity utilization, NPT and rework.
∎ Study and record time, motion, method, and speed involved in the performance of production, maintenance, clerical, and other worker operations for such purposes as establishing standard production rates or improving efficiency.
∎ Ensure the integrity of factory performance databases, by following the company manufacturing instruction, to reflect line and product variants due to new products, process changes and related annual variable budget revisions.
∎ Review the machine list daily, implement lean manufacturing process andKAIZEN or any other technique for continuous improvement.
∎ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior pertaining to the safety, quality, and efficiency of the factory.
∎ Ensure technical and pre-production meeting with production and quality team before new style/input are given in line.
∎ Carry out any other jobs as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 23 to 26 years
∎ Fabric knowledge, technical knowledge (IE in Washing Process)
∎ Knowledge of the production process
∎ Up to date knowledge on related equipment/machinery.
∎ Reporting and computer skill.
∎ In-depth knowledge about denim product, planning and quality control mechanism of buyers.
∎ Computer literacy (Oracle/ERP environment)
∎ Must be fluent in English (Reading, writing, and speaking).
∎ Team player with proactive interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work hard and control Pressure
∎ An open-minded approach towards learning new skills and sharpening existing skill sets.
∎ Result-oriented and a strong desire for success.
∎ Self-starter & proactive
∎ Good interpersonal skills.
