Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline, Diploma in Hotel Management
∎ According to the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, to become an executive chef one must take courses offered in six departments, while there are seven steps to become a chef, the steps being commis 3, commis 2, commis 1, chef de partie, sous chef, executive sous chef, and executive chef.
∎ Training/Trade Course: Trade course from NHTTI
∎ Skills Required: Bangladeshi food, BBQ Grilling, Chinese Food Cooking, Indian food, Thai Food Cooking, Vegetarian Food

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 9 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Bangladeshi food, BBQ/ Kabab, Chinese food, Continental Cooking, Indian food, multi cuisine, Thai Food, Vegetarian Food
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Restaurant, Hotel

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
∎ Planning the menu, keeping in mind budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients.
∎ Overseeing all kitchen operations.
∎ Coordinating kitchen staff, and assisting them as required.
∎ Training staff to prepare and cook all the menu items.
∎ Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
∎ Keeping up to date with industry trends.
∎ Receiving feedback and making improvements where necessary.
∎ Perfectionism in sanitation and quality control.
∎ Exemplary work ethic in a high-pressure environment.
∎ Passion and pride for delighting people with food.
∎ Should have multitasking ability.
∎ Should possess great leadership and interpersonal skills.
∎ Should have advanced knowledge on the culinary arts.
∎ Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes.
∎ Coordinating cooks' tasks.
∎ Designing new recipes, planning menus, and selecting plate presentations.
∎ Reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives.
∎ Hiring and training kitchen staff, such as cooks, food preparation workers, and dishwashers.
∎ Setting and monitoring performance standards for staff.
∎ Obtaining feedback on food and service quality, and handling customer problems and complaints.
∎ Executive Chef must have advanced knowledge of food professional principles and practices.
∎ Executive Chef must be ready to work on-call, shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays.
∎ Performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years

Salary:
∎ Tk. 40000 - 45000 (Monthly)
∎ Applicant should write amount of expected salary
