Role Description
This is a Full-time/ Part-time on-site role for an English Second Language Teacher located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering effective English lessons, developing lesson plans, and preparing students for the future. The day-to-day tasks will involve teaching English as a Foreign Language and engaging with students to enhance their English proficiency.
Job Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons tailored to students’ proficiency levels
Prepare students for English proficiency exams, including IELTS
Create lesson plans and implement classroom strategies that support language development
Monitor and assess student progress
Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Required Qualifications
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in English language training
Age range – 35- 40
Strong knowledge of English teaching methodologies and lesson planning
Proven ability to prepare students for IELTS exams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
BA / MA in any field
CELTA/TESOL or PGCE with ESL focus. Certification from the British Council or a recognized institution (required)
