Job Context:
∎ Organization: Cox`s Bazar Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI) in collaboration with the International Labor Organization (ILO)
∎ Project Title: "Improving Skills and Economic Opportunities for the Host Communities in Cox`s Bazar"
∎ Aim of the Project: (i)Strengthening Skills and Entrepreneurship in Agro-Food Systems for the Host Communities and Rohingya People in Cox`s Bazar.
∎ (ii) Improving Skills and Economic Opportunities for the Bangladeshi Community and Rohingya Women & Youths in Cox`s Bazar
∎ Duration of the Project: November 2023 to December 2024

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Entrepreneur Development Officer will be responsible for:
∎ Developing and delivering entrepreneurship training programs for local communities, with a focus on agro-food systems and related sectors.
∎ Assisting entrepreneurs in business planning, market research, and accessing resources for business growth.
∎ Identifying and promoting entrepreneurial opportunities within the project's scope.
∎ Collecting and analyzing data to measure the impact of entrepreneurship development efforts.
∎ Collaborating with stakeholders to create a supportive environment for entrepreneurship.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Cox's Bazar Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual for the position of Entrepreneur Development Officer. The Entrepreneur Development Officer will play a crucial role in promoting entrepreneurship and supporting the economic development of the communities in Cox's Bazar. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:
∎ Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in entrepreneurship development, small business management, or a related field.
∎ Technical Proposal: Familiarity with technical proposal development, project management, and reporting.
∎ Entrepreneurial Knowledge: Understanding of entrepreneurship principles, including business planning, market research, and startup support.
∎ Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bengali. Ability to facilitate workshops and training sessions.
∎ Data Analysis: Proficiency in data collection and analysis to assess the impact of entrepreneurship programs.
∎ Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to engage and collaborate with local entrepreneurs, business associations, and government agencies.
∎ Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address challenges faced by entrepreneurs.
∎ Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications and project management tools.
