∎ Vacancy: 01 for Bhola (Frequent field visit both Barguna & Bhola)
∎ South Asia Partnership-Bangladesh (SAP-Bangladesh) invites application for the position of Employment Officer-Skills & Opportunities for Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship-(SOYEE ) from the potential Bangladeshi nationals for implementing "Sponsorship Program" in Barguna and Bhola Sadar Upazila for 12 months with possibility of further extension.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish and maintain relationships with employers, industry associations, and recruitment
∎ agencies to identify job placement opportunities.
∎ Match trained individuals with suitable job openings based on their skills, experience, and
∎ preferences.
∎ Provide guidance and support to participants throughout the job application process, including
∎ resume preparation, interview skills, and job search strategies.
∎ Conduct regular follow-ups with employers and participants to monitor progress and address
∎ any challenges faced during the placement phase.
∎ Collaborate with the training team to ensure that participants are prepared and equipped with
∎ the necessary skills for employment.
∎ Identify potential self-employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for program participants.
∎ Provide guidance and mentorship to participants interested in starting their own businesses,
∎ including assistance with business plan development, market research, and accessing
∎ financial resources.
∎ Facilitate entrepreneurship workshops and training sessions to enhance participants'
∎ knowledge and skills in business management, marketing, and financial literacy.
∎ Connect participants with relevant support networks and resources to develop their enterprise
∎ Establish and maintain partnerships with local businesses, government agencies, NGOs, and
∎ community organizations to expand job placement opportunities.
∎ Participate in industry-related events, job fairs, and networking sessions to stay updated on
∎ employment trends
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of job placements, including participant profiles,
∎ employment outcomes, and employer feedback.
∎ Prepare regular reports on job placement activities, success rates, and challenges
∎ Collaborate with the monitoring and evaluation team to collect data on employment outcomes
∎ and impact indicators.
∎ Any other task will be accomplished assign by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in job placement, recruitment, or related roles.
∎ Familiarity with entrepreneurship development, including business planning, market analysis, and financial management.
∎ Strong networking and negotiation skills to connect participants with suitable employment opportunities
∎ Understanding of the local job market, employment trends, and industry requirements.
∎ Proficient in using computer applications and software relevant to the job.
Salary:
∎ Gross Taka 32,887 per month (and yearly salary increment, two festival bonus per year etc. as per policy of the organization)
