Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Perform erection of steel lattice towers and poles for Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission lines (up to 380kV and above).
∎ Execute conductor stringing, sagging, and clipping works, ensuring proper tension and clearances as per engineering standards.
∎ Assist in installation of insulators, spacers, dampers, and other line accessories.
∎ Conduct inspection of tools, equipment, and rigging gear prior to use to ensure safety compliance.
∎ Follow all safety protocols, especially for working at heights and in energized environments.
∎ Read and interpret construction drawings and line profiles accurately.
∎ Coordinate with ground crews and equipment operators to ensure smooth and safe lifting and stringing operations.
∎ Report daily progress, challenges, and safety observations to the site supervisor.
∎ Support in pre-commissioning checks and testing of completed line sections.
∎ Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks regularly.
