Responsibilities & Context:

Installation & Setup

• Install electrical wiring, conduit, lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets.

• Set up and connect electrical panels, circuit breakers, DBs, and MCB systems.

• Assist with setting up and connecting new machinery, motors, and electrical equipment.

• Set up, configure, and repair office hardware, printers, and scanners.

Maintenance & Operations

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.

• Carry out routine maintenance and condition monitoring for MV/LV power distribution systems.

• Service appliances, generators, earthing systems, and communication or security setups.

• Ensure proper operation, care, and usage of all electrical tools and equipment.

Troubleshooting & Repairs

• Identify, diagnose, and repair electrical faults, breakdowns, and wiring issues using appropriate testing meters.

• Repair and replace faulty lights, switches, sockets, and basic hardware components.

• Respond promptly to emergency electrical breakdowns and system failures.

• Manage and coordinate external technician support for specialized repairs when required.

Safety, Reporting & Administration

• Maintain electrical protection and grounding systems to meet safety standards.

• Strictly follow all workplace electrical and general safety protocols.

• Maintain records, document maintenance activities, and report unresolved issues to the supervisor.

• Perform other related technical duties as assigned by management.
