Education:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Field Supervision & Monitoring: Conduct regular and intensive field visits to supervise and monitor program implementation.
∎ Activity Planning: Develop and implement monthly activity plans to help achieve program goals and objectives.
∎ Training Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for ASA Education Program mentors and supervisors to enhance their effectiveness.
∎ Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and guidance to develop skills of ASA Education Program mentors and supervisors.
∎ Community Engagement: Organize regular awareness meetings and promotional activities with parents, community members, government primary school teachers and relevant government officials.
∎ Reporting: Report directly to Education Manager or assigned individual person providing regular updates on the activities, progresses, challenges, and outcomes of the program.
∎ Report Writing: Prepare and submit reports on program activities, progress, and outcomes as required and requested.
∎ Educational Planning & Policy: Develop educational plan & create educational policy as per requirements for the ASA Education Program.
∎ Content Development: Develop need based educational content and teacher’s manual development as per requirement/requested.
∎ Undertake any other lawful responsibilities as assigned by the office/supervisor.
∎ ASA is one of the biggest MFIs in the world with around 26 thousand employees serving around 70 lakh clients across the country. ASA Education Program (ASAEP) aims to boost literacy in Bangladesh by supporting underprivileged primary-level students at risk of dropping out. These students, often from low-income families of ASA members & others, struggle with academic progress due to lack of resources and support at home. ASAEP operates 15,750 education centers & 64 learning centers across the country, providing after-school educational assistance from pre-primary to grade eight. In 2025, we are supporting 6.20 lakh students. The program plays a vital role in reducing dropout rates by providing extra care and guidance beyond regular school hours to improve the quality of education. ASA welcomes you to take the initial challenges in this process. Currently, we are seeking applications from suitable individuals to fill up the vacant position titled "Education Officer”. Major responsibilities of the said position include:

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Maximum Salary: TK 42,600/- (per month)
∎ Probation period will be 1 (one) year long. After successful completion of the probationary period, the employee will be accommodated in the regular Pay Scale of ASA.
∎ All admissible benefits like Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Yearly Increment, Festival Allowance, Naboborsho Allowance (Boishakhy), Welfare Fund and Employees Group Benefit Fund will be attributed to the selected candidate as per ASA's rules and regulations.
∎ Maximum Salary: TK 42,600/- (per month)
