Responsibilities & Context

The International Student Counsellor plays a key role in guiding students who wish to pursue higher education abroad by advising them on suitable courses, universities, and study destinations, while supporting them throughout the application and visa process. The role ensures accurate information, timely follow-ups, and a high-quality student experience in line with organizational standards, while also handling B2B communication with education agents who provide student files and referrals. In addition, the counsellor may participate in live counselling sessions, webinars, and events, as well as create and appear in education-related videos to enhance student engagement, outreach, and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students on international education options, including universities, courses, and destinations

• Guide students through application, admission, and enrollment processes

• Provide accurate information on visa procedures, documentation, and deadlines

• Maintain student records and follow up on leads

• Coordinate with education agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth processing of student applications and timely communication.

• Occasionally participate in hosting Facebook Live sessions and creating education-related videos to engage students and promote study opportunities.
