Job Context:
∎ Shimantik is a national NGO working in different sectors in different parts of Bangladesh since in 1979. Shimantik is implementing Emergency Response to Covid-19 Pandemic Project under the USAID funded USAID`s MaMoni Maternal and Newborn Care Strengthening Project (MNCSP), with technical support from Save the Children International.
∎ E-Mentoring is a means of providing a guided mentoring relationship using online software or email. It allows participants to communicate at their own convenience and beyond time zones since it eliminates the need for them to be in the same physical location. In recognition of the basic need for human connection, a virtual mentorship program establishes deeper communication between mentors and mentees. To manage a variety of interventions like session in different districts and upazilas, Shimantik looks forward to hire one e-Mentoring coordinator who will be responsible to engage with session at Hub & spoke part with local health officials, plan activities through report collection and analysis and produce programmatic and financial progress report as per contractual obligations. Shimantik, is seeking application from the potential candidate on the following requirements for the position:
∎ Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension subject to funding, program needs and performance)
∎ Job Location: Based in Dhaka with frequent travels.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop detail implementation plan for e-mentoring session activities with approved SOW & budget.
∎ Identify the area where support is needed like case management and virtual support.
∎ Prepare PPT for session and set up the HUB and Spoke for e-mentoring session.
∎ Ensure stakeholders as per the necessity of the Hub & spoke during session.
∎ Communicate with HUB team and Spoke team for the management of COVID-19 cases.
∎ Coordinate with SCI's COVID-19 Response team and other programs (SNMP, Momta, and MaMoni MNCSP) for support.
∎ Support orientation for reduce the transmission of Covid-19 at different level.
∎ Liaison with DGHS and sub-national government coordination structures.
∎ To ensure quality implementation of the e-mentoring session.
∎ Contribute of weekly updates and inputs to various reports.
∎ Manage the program activity according to design & plan.
∎ Maintain liaison with different stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Two years' work experience in relevant field with managerial position.
∎ Minimum one-year field experience in coordination and implementation health related project.
