Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary: The District Credit Inspector is responsible for reviewing and assessing the credit business operational efficiency within selected showrooms in the assigned territory. This role ensures compliance with credit policies, monitors key credit performance indicators, and evaluates the internal control systems related to hire purchase (HP) receivables. The incumbent will also be responsible for detecting potential risks, ensuring adherence to collection procedures, and providing recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor branch collection activities and evaluate field management performance.

  • Review the credit business operational efficiency of the district and submit detailed reports.

  • Detect any hire purchase sales defalcation within the assigned area and report findings.

  • Review CLC documents and ensure branches comply with credit policies and controls.

  • Visit HP accounts to identify potential business risks associated with HP receivables.

  • Review recovery efforts against bad HP accounts and recommend improvement strategies.

  • Coordinate legal procedures against defaulting HP customers.

  • Check branch cash and inventory records to identify risks associated with HP receivables.

  • Conduct credit risk analysis and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

  • Prepare credit reports for district branches, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
