Role Overview
The Direct Marketing Supervisor (Senior) will lead Fairdrive’s on-ground marketing and field operations with a strong focus on driver acquisition, activation execution, and market expansion. This role requires a balanced approach—50% desk-based planning, reporting, and coordination, and 50% on-ground leadership, monitoring, and execution. The position demands frequent travel to different cities to run field operations, monitor performance through location visits, secure required permissions from local authorities, and ensure operational readiness of all activations.
Key Responsibilities
Build, hire, and structure an on-ground marketing team to support driver acquisition and local growth targets.
Train, coach, and mentor team members to ensure consistent performance and professional field conduct.
Lead daily field planning, task distribution, and performance reviews across zones.
Ensure discipline, attendance, reporting, and KPI execution for all direct marketing staff.
Run and supervise day-to-day field operations across assigned areas and cities.
Maintain strong on-ground presence to ensure execution quality and immediate issue resolution.
Plan and execute activations, roadshows, driver meetups, booth activities, and local area campaigns.
Monitor field performance by visiting locations, conducting audits, and ensuring brand compliance.
Identify high-footfall driver congregation spots (fuel stations, CNG stations, garages, taxi hubs, transport adda points) and plan activities around them.
Ensure branding material logistics and timely setup at activation sites (banners, standees, flyers, uniforms, booth materials, etc.).
Ensure proper use of branding materials, scripts, and messaging during activations.
Drive driver onboarding growth by identifying high-potential areas, unions/stands, and driver communities.
Build and execute strategies to capture more drivers for ride-sharing operations and ensure sustained engagement.
Create actionable plans to expand business coverage area-by-area (zone expansion), aligned with growth targets.
Conduct competitor monitoring and adapt field tactics based on market dynamics.
Take required permissions from local authorities and relevant stakeholders to run on-ground operations (booths, activations, events, etc.).
Build and maintain relationships with local gatekeepers, community leaders, and operational partners.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and manage operational risk for all field activities.
Develop weekly/monthly field execution plans, activation calendars, and city-wise targets.
Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Driver Support, Growth/Marketing) to ensure smooth onboarding and activation execution.
Track and report performance: leads, onboarding conversion, city-wise progress, team productivity, and campaign outcomes.
Analyze field insights and propose improvements to incentive structures, messaging, and activation formats.
Travel to Chittagong and other cities as needed to supervise, guide, and evaluate junior staff and field operations.
Ensure consistent execution standards across cities through regular field visits and follow-ups.
Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
3.5 – 5 years of relevant experience in direct marketing, field marketing, BTL, sales activation, or growth operations.
Proven track record of building and leading on-ground teams with measurable outcomes.
Strong understanding of Dhaka and Chittagong markets.
Strong experience in field execution, monitoring, location planning, and operational coordination.
Ability to coordinate permissions and manage relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel frequently to different cities and work extensively in the field.
Comfortable working in a role that is split between desk responsibilities and on-ground execution.
Driver acquisition and onboarding targets achieved (daily/weekly/monthly).
City-wise activation execution: number of events/booths/meetups completed and performance outcomes.
Team productivity: field attendance, lead generation, conversion rates, and discipline.
Expansion progress: new areas activated, stands/communities covered, partnerships established.
