∎ Under the direct supervision of Head of Public Communication the Digital & Production Officer position is intended to enhance the digital reputation and positioning of the ICRC, furthering the goals and objectives of the digital strategy. S/he supports the ICRC`s efforts to connect with relevant audiences through digital and traditional channels by editing, creating and publishing contents. S/he is the focal point within the delegation for the print production of publications and promotional items. S/he is also responsible for implementing the Field Production Book (FPB) process at the delegation level.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manages ICRC Dhaka delegation social media accounts using accepted best practices, develops digital contents (videos, photos, infographics), posting content and query management in an appropriate fashion, engaging with and delivering content to priority audiences
∎ Visits programs, operational and project areas to gather and produce contents that showcase ICRC's operational activities, highlighting beneficiaries' voices
∎ Works with the National Society communication team to initiate, create and publish joint social media products and campaigns
∎ Conducts evaluates, produces social media reports on growth and audience of their accounts and how content is performing - and makes recommendations based on results and implements them
∎ Keeps abreast of technological developments and latest trends, contributes to analysing content trends, new media and technical innovations, and informs supervisors and colleagues concerned
∎ Manages the print production of ICRC institutional publications from design to off-press, selecting and supervising the work of freelance graphic designers and printers so as to ensure quality service and respect for deadlines
∎ Ensures that all products comply with corporate visual identity and initiates publications and promotional items of local reach, in consultation with the Communication Coordinator, Head of Public Communication and Regional Print Production Officer
∎ Manages the promotion and distribution of new and existing publications produced by the regional communication centre and headquarters in liaison with the delegation
∎ Compiles the yearly delegation production book, ensuring implementation and follow-up
Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge of design software (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is required
∎ Professional requirements:
∎ 3-5 years' relevant experience with minimum 2 years' experience in digital media engagement
∎ Deep understanding/expertise of social media platforms, analytics tools and metrics.
∎ Computer skills: competence in MS Office and other related design software
∎ Fluent command of English and Bengali; additional languages an asset
∎ Excellent public speaking skills.
∎ Personal qualities for the position:

Salary:
