Experience:
MBA / PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management (preferred)
08–10+ years of dealer/channel sales experience
Proven track record of scaling dealer networks and revenue
Experience managing large field teams and multi-region operations
To lead and expand the dealer sales network by driving revenue growth, market penetration, dealer performance, and channel profitability while building long-term, high-performing dealer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement dealer sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives
Drive revenue growth, market share, and geographic expansion through the dealer network
Appoint, develop, and rationalize dealers as per market potential
Plan and execute annual operating plans, sales targets, and budgets
Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and channel partners
Define dealer policies, margins, incentive schemes, and credit terms
Ensure dealer profitability and long-term engagement
Address dealer grievances and resolve channel conflicts
Lead, mentor, and motivate regional/area dealer sales teams
Set KPIs for field teams and track productivity and effectiveness
Support recruitment, training, and performance management of sales staff
Build a result-oriented, disciplined sales culture
Identify white spaces, new markets, and growth opportunities
Ensure effective product availability, visibility, and merchandising at dealer points
Drive secondary sales, inventory control, and stock rotation
Monitor schemes, promotions, and local market activities
Handle key dealers and strategic channel accounts
Lead high-value negotiations and annual dealer agreements
Coordinate with finance for collections, credit control, and risk management
Track competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and dealer movements
Recommend pricing, discounting, and promotional strategies
Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams
Ensure smooth order processing, dispatch, collections, and after-sales support
Align dealer sales initiatives with marketing campaigns and brand strategy
