Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: CACC Holder (CA Part-2 Completed)
∎ Candidates MUST have completed Training/Trade Course: VAT, TAX
∎ Candidates with qualifications as income tax lawyer will be given preference.
∎
∎ Skills Required: Corporate Tax, Finance/ Accounts, RJC, Tax and VAT

∎ 10 to 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Candidate will oversee Tax Department of Quasem Industries Limited and all Sister Concerns.
∎ Responsible for filing tax compliance reports in a timely and accurate manner.
∎ Preparation & submission of tax return of all the companies, directors & employees within the stipulated time as per law.
∎ Responsible for liaison and communication with Government Regulatory bodies, Divisional Circle offices.
∎ Report to management on a regular basis on strategic issues for tax related matters.
∎ Identify and mitigate tax risks as well as review the Audited Financial Statements in the light of ITO, 1984 with a view to reduce the disallowances.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on tax and VAT exemption areas and regulatory practice.
∎ Ensure the Instalments of advance tax u/s 66 of ITO 1984.
∎ Maintain the records of Tax payment status of all companies.
∎ Preparation of appeal applications & submission there of (if applicable).
∎ Experience in VAT and Tax Audit, Hearing, Post Clearance Audit, Appellate and tribunal etc.
∎ Coordinate the process of tax and VAT deduction and certificates issuance against supplier payments.
∎ Coordinate VAT & Tax activities of Head office, factories, other operational units, and other Stakeholders.
∎ Coordinate with admin and procurement departments to ensure tax and VAT compliance during the supplier contracting/agreement process.
∎ Should have working experience in preparing yearly income Tax and for both individuals and companies.
∎ Preparation/Collection of certified copy, other documents relating to Tax matters.
∎ Take appropriate steps for adjustment of advance income Tax & update the assessment of the company.
∎ Collect necessary information from Accounts Department regarding Tax & related documents.
∎ Discharge such other functions as may be assigned to him from time to time by the Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer or Chief Financial Officer.
∎ Candidate will also oversee and audit VAT compliance at the factories and all branch levels.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ At least 5 years’ experience working as senior member (preferably head) of Tax Department for FMCG Manufacturing and Distribution company.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Accounting and Finance, Corporate Tax, Income Tax and VAT
∎ Minimum CA Part 2 completed
