• Lead and oversee the overall production operations of the jacket manufacturing unit, ensuring achievement of production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

• Plan, organize, and monitor production activities from cutting, sewing, finishing, pressing, folding, and packing to final dispatch.

• Develop and implement production plans in coordination with Merchandising, Planning, Quality, IE, Supply Chain, and other relevant departments.

• Monitor production efficiency, line performance, productivity, capacity utilization, and production costs to achieve operational targets.

• Ensure timely completion of production orders in line with buyer requirements, approved samples, specifications, and shipment deadlines.

• Supervise and guide production managers, line supervisors, and other production personnel to ensure effective manpower utilization and smooth factory operations.

• Analyze production bottlenecks, downtime, line balancing, and workflow issues and take corrective actions to improve productivity.

• Ensure proper implementation of quality standards throughout the production process and coordinate with the Quality team to minimize defects, rework, rejection, and alteration.

• Ensure compliance with approved construction, measurements, workmanship, technical specifications, and buyer requirements for jacket products.

• Monitor finishing operations, including pressing, folding, packing, and final inspection, to ensure products meet required quality standards before shipment.

• Coordinate with Industrial Engineering (IE) to improve line balancing, work methods, SMV, productivity, and production efficiency.

• Work closely with Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure machines, equipment, utilities, and production facilities remain operational and downtime is minimized.

• Ensure effective manpower planning, skill development, training, and performance management across production departments.

• Implement Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, waste reduction, and productivity improvement initiatives across the factory.

• Monitor and control production wastage, material consumption, rework, overtime, and other operational costs.

• Ensure compliance with factory safety requirements, workplace standards, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Maintain and review production reports, efficiency reports, quality reports, capacity utilization, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Identify operational risks and take timely preventive and corrective actions to ensure uninterrupted production.

• Resolve production-related issues and coordinate with senior management and cross-functional teams for critical matters.

• Develop and maintain strong coordination with Merchandising, Planning, Quality, IE, HR, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth order execution.

• Lead regular production review meetings and provide management with updates on production status, challenges, productivity, quality, and delivery performance.

• Evaluate departmental performance and develop action plans to achieve continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

• Stay updated on modern garment manufacturing technologies, jacket production techniques, Lean practices, and industry best practices.

• Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, discipline, quality consciousness, and continuous improvement throughout the production function.
