Experience:
Lead and manage the overall Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) function across fabric, trims, cutting, sewing, washing, finishing, packing, and final inspection.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve Quality Management Systems (QMS), quality policies, SOPs, inspection standards, and quality control procedures.
Ensure all jacket and outerwear products meet buyer specifications, approved samples, measurement standards, workmanship requirements, AQL standards, and applicable compliance requirements.
Establish and monitor effective inline, end-line, and final inspection systems to identify, control, and prevent quality issues at every stage of production.
Oversee the inspection and quality control of fabrics, trims, accessories, zippers, buttons, labels, in-process garments, washed garments, finished garments, and packed goods.
Work closely with Production, Technical, Merchandising, IE, Washing, Cutting, Finishing, and other relevant departments to identify quality risks and implement timely corrective actions.
Monitor key quality KPIs including DHU, RFT, defect rate, rejection rate, alteration, rework, customer complaints, audit findings, and final inspection performance.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major and recurring quality issues and ensure effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) are implemented and followed through.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, rejection, alteration, and quality-related costs while improving right-first-time production.
Review quality data and trends to identify recurring defects, process gaps, and potential risks, and develop preventive action plans.
Ensure proper implementation of quality control checkpoints and preventive measures during pre-production and production stages.
Lead and develop the QA team through coaching, training, performance evaluation, technical development, and succession planning.
Establish clear quality objectives and promote a culture of accountability, quality awareness, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the factory.
Conduct regular quality meetings, training sessions, and awareness programs for production and support teams to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure fabrics, trims, accessories, and other raw materials meet approved quality specifications.
Support supplier evaluation, quality audits, performance reviews, and improvement initiatives where required.
Maintain proper documentation of inspection reports, testing records, quality alerts, CAPA, audit reports, buyer requirements, and quality-related records.
Lead and coordinate buyer, internal, third-party, and certification audits and ensure timely corrective action and closure of audit findings.
Investigate and resolve buyer/customer quality complaints and ensure sustainable corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Ensure buyer feedback, inspection findings, and quality concerns are effectively communicated to relevant departments and incorporated into production processes.
Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, applicable Bangladesh RMG regulations, international quality standards, product safety requirements, and factory quality policies.
Prepare and present regular quality performance reports, KPI analysis, major quality issues, CAPA status, audit findings, and improvement plans to senior management.
Identify potential quality risks during pre-production and production and establish appropriate preventive controls to minimize quality failures.
Collaborate with Technical and Production teams during new style development, pre-production meetings, first-piece approvals, and production readiness to ensure quality requirements are clearly established.
Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure identified quality issues are permanently resolved rather than repeatedly addressed.
Champion operational excellence, right-first-time production, defect prevention, and zero-defect manufacturing initiatives across the factory.
