Additional Requirements: - Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience in emergency response projects or humanitarian work environments, particularly in SBCC activities.
Responsibilities & Context: Joining Date: 01 November'2024,
The organization is implementing the project " Emergency response for Availability and Accessibility of Quality MR, PAC Services for Rohingya Refugees, supported by UNFPA.
Workstation: Cox’s Bazar (Ukhiya)
Project Duration: October'24 to December'24 with a high possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
- Overall management of the project SBCC team based in Ukhyia, Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar as well as Bhasan Char, Noakhali.
- He/she will directly support, guide, supervise, and monitor SBCC monitoring officers and Camp SBCC officers in their regular project activities.
- Coordination and maintained liaison with lead partner, technical team, and service providers.
- Assess and analyze the overall SBCC situation and activity progress in camps and address accordingly by consultation with the lead partner SBCC team in developing SBCC materials and planning for implementation of activities.
- Maintain liaison and coordination with local Islamic Foundation and Imam Samity in Ukhiya, Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar and Bhasan Char, Noakhali..
- Monitor and guide training of community workforce (CHW supervisors and CHW of other partner NGOs) on FP, MR, and PAC information and track progress of activities.
- Monitor and guide the training of FDMN Imams (religious leaders) along with host community Imams with support of the SBCC team of lead partners.
- Support and guide the team in developing an action plan along with the lead partner’s SBCC team.
- Collect and compile activity reporting.
- Support, supervise, and monitor the monitoring officers in their routine activities, and camp distribution and provide management & technical guidance to them.
- Maintain liaison with CHW-working group contacts/focal and collaborate as required. Will report to the Program Manager and Lead partner’s BCC Team
