Job Overview
The Deputy Manager/Manager - Finishing (Textile) responsible for overseeing and optimizing the finishing processes to ensure high-quality output and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Finishing Machine Capacity Utilization:
- Monitor and maximize the utilization of finishing machines to meet production targets and maintain efficiency.
- Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance throughput.
- Total Stenter Reprocess% and Compacting Reprocess%:
- Oversee the stenter and compacting processes, minimizing reprocess percentages to reduce waste and improve quality.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures to maintain consistency in finishing outcomes.
- Bulk Lab Test (Shrinkage, Spirality):
- Conduct bulk lab tests to evaluate shrinkage and spirality, ensuring finished products meet specified tolerances.
- Document test results and recommend adjustments to processes or materials as needed.
- Fabric OTIF (On-Time In-Full) and Compensation Delivery per Day:
- Ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery of finished fabric batches, managing compensation schedules effectively.
- Track daily delivery performance and address any delays to maintain customer satisfaction.
