Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting, Finance
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The candidate must be self - motivated & independently handle VAT & Income Tax related work of the company.
∎ Monitor TAX & VAT matters of different concerns of the company situated all over Bangladesh to ensure the measures that comply with all fiscal laws including Income Tax, VAT & Company Law.
∎ Keep the management up-to-date with all relevant changes in VAT/ TAX regulations and their potential impact on the organization.
∎ Monitor monthly TDS & VDS deduction from the applicable heads of accounts and deposit to the Govt. exchequer.
∎ Provide TDS & VDS certificates against deduction from parties.
∎ Ensure proper preparation and submission of VAT & Income Tax Return.
∎ Maintain financial books of accounts and statements in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the related bodies - Auditors (internal & external), NBR (Tax purpose), and VAT authorities.
∎ Maintain close liaison with NBR and other Govt. agencies.
∎ Ensure proper documentation, control, and maintain necessary records with respect to Income Tax related issues, TDS, VDS, VAT & AIT and related documents.
∎ responsible for explanation and proper response for the queries of NBR.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on VAT Online.
∎ Prepare and filling of Withholding Tax Return u/s - 75A
∎ Dealing the matters of taxable income of employees TDS, prepare & issue of salary & TDS certificate & E-TIN activation for employees.
∎ Preparation & submission for Salary Return (u/s 108 of ITO 1984) etc.
∎ Any other task required by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 40 years
∎ At-least 7 years in hand experience required in Tax & VAT (Customs Duty/ Income Tax)
∎ CACC/ITP/ICMAP (Partly qualified)
∎ Training course on VAT & Tax
∎ Should be passionate and committed to promote organizational values.
∎ Behavioral Skills: Personal attributes should include qualities such as consistency, willingness to flexibility, capacity to manage confidential information, cultural sensitivity, able to follow through with difficult issues in an open and professional manner.
