Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate from any reputed public or private university.
∎ Applicants with degree in Marketing, Communication, PR, Media Studies, Journalism will be considered as an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1) Public Relation
∎ Prepare high quality press releases in English and Bengali to cover ULAB news, events, achievements, curricular and co/extracurricular activities.
∎ Ensure maximum coverage of these ULAB news, events and activities in high-circulation newspapers, magazines, periodicals, online and electronic media.
∎ Establish ULAB's reputation and brand image among the students, guardians, and general public through publicity brochures, promotional materials, presentations, and adequate news coverage and social media presence.
∎ Ensure publication of ULAB features and press releases in all the reputed national and regional newspapers and TV channels.
∎ Maintain ULAB's official Facebook page and ensure posting of relevant news.
∎ Distribute ULAB newsletters, greeting cards on religious and cultural occasions, and other print materials to ULABians and outside people.
∎ Collect published ULAB features and news, and distribute those to the relevant offices and to appropriate personnel to increase audience engagement.
∎ 2) Media Relation
∎ Manage media enquiries and interview requests.
∎ Maintain liaison and regular communication with relevant advertisement agencies, print and electronic media and third parties to ensure maximum news coverage and best advertisement placement.
∎ Leverage existing media relationship by making weekly PR visits to newspaper and media offices.
∎ 3) Coordination
∎ Coordinate with the Graphic Designers to design and prepare these advertisements for print and online media.
∎ Follow-up the ULAB's advertisement schedule with the advertisement agencies and newspaper representatives to ensure timely publications.
∎ 4) Plan & Strategy
∎ Prepare weekly report on PR visits, press releases, and media monitoring, by summarising the frequency and impact.
∎ Monitor, analyse and communicate PR results on a monthly basis.
∎ Suggest effective PR and Communication plan and implement tactics to increase maximum audience reach.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in writing, editing, and translating PR news/articles for various print and electronic media.
∎ Experience in communicating and maintaining professional relationship with media personnel.
∎ Awareness of different ULAB and media agendas.
∎ Ability to prioritize and plan effectively.
∎ Essential computer and IT skills that includes MS Office.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
