Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's Degree preferably in women & gender study/social science/Statistics.
Job Context:
∎ Report to: Programme Coordinator
∎ Job Grade: 07
∎ WROs have diverse needs and characteristics and this project identifies and targets the diverse needs of WROs` and feminist movements in this country. At program level, the design of WVL-Bangladesh project works through feminist approach and integrate feminist principle.
∎ The position is based in Dhaka with minimum 40-50% of time travel outside of Dhaka in remote locations of Bangladesh
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 8 years' experience in development sector as M&E professional;
∎ Familiar and in-depth understanding on feminist approach, human rights based approach and gender equality approach in program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
∎ Proven experience in conducting research and in-depth understanding both in quantitative and qualitative research methodology.
∎ Good level of proficiency in MS office and statistical software (SPSS/STATA) for quantitative analysis;
∎ Proven experience on developing project design and evaluation independently; ability to design M&E tools, surveys and evaluations.
∎ Demonstrated ability and facilitation skill to train and build capacity of others;
∎ Ability to analyse data and prepare report, will have strong interpersonal skills and managerial capacity, proficient in both Bangla and English language;
∎ Acquainted with various law and policies of Bangladesh and in-depth understanding on human rights, gender equality and women's rights.
∎ Proven working experience in GAC implemented project in Bangladesh will be added advantage.
