  • 10-15 Years in Garments Industry (Specially in Denim Washing)

  • Experience working in textile wet processing, preferably in denim washing.

  • Knowledge of chemical processes used in fabric finishing and washing.

  • Understanding of safety and environmental standards related to chemical use.

  • Analytical skills for problem-solving and quality control.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

  • Team Leader with proactive interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work hard and control Pressure

  • Open-minded approach towards learning new skills and sharpening existing skill sets.

Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities

  • Preparing and analyzing chemical compounds, solutions, and reagents.

  • Conducting experiments to develop new chemical products or improve existing ones.

  • Using laboratory equipment like spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and other analytical instruments.

  • Developing and implementing quality control procedures for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

  • Analyzing data, interpreting results, and writing technical reports.

  • Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards in the laboratory & also Ensuring all chemical storage and handling procedures adhere to safety regulations, including proper labeling, segregation of hazardous materials, and MSDS availability.

  • Troubleshooting production problems and optimizing chemical processes.

  • Verifying the quality of chemicals received and ensuring they meet the required specifications.

  • Ensuring all chemical storage and handling procedures adhere to safety regulations, including proper labeling, segregation of hazardous materials, and MSDS availability.

  • Ensuring that chemicals are issued on a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) basis to prevent expiration.

  • Preparing for and participating in audits related to chemical storage and handling.

  • Handle other responsibilities and projects, as assigned from time to time.
