Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct pre-audit and post-audit of bills, vouchers, and financial transactions to ensure policy compliance and proper authorization.
∎ Perform regular audits at factory level including production, HR, and finance-related processes.
∎ Carry out special audits and investigations as per directives from the Board of Directors and senior management.
∎ Audit raw material usage, process efficiency, and waste control in FIBC bag production, local bag manufacturing, hatchery, and feed mill operations.
∎ Review and verify production reports and inventory data for accuracy and accountability.
∎ Physically verify factory personnel during salary disbursement.
∎ Review monthly salary, wages, overtime, incentives, bonuses, arrears, and employee benefit payments.
∎ Audit worker attendance, employee files (including new joiners and migrations), and payroll documentation.
∎ Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory audits and submit detailed reports to management.
∎ Verify fixed assets with physical existence, update the fixed asset register, and check tagging/coding systems.
∎ Audit purchase requisitions, bills, vouchers, stock ledgers, gate passes, challans, and material movement records.
∎ Verify documentation related to material receipt and issue for accuracy and completeness.
∎ Perform physical verification of petty cash and cash sales balances.
∎ Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records across business units.
∎ Assist in developing and executing a risk-based internal audit plan.
∎ Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems across departments.
∎ Prepare comprehensive audit reports highlighting key findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
∎ Present findings to senior management in a clear and professional manner.
∎ Ensure compliance with relevant laws, industry standards, and internal audit policies.
∎ Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all audit activities.
∎ Collaborate with departments to assess risk areas and gather information.
∎ Contribute to the development and improvement of internal audit procedures and practices
∎ Audit Execution & Compliance:
