- 2–8 years’ experience in freight forwarding / NVOCC / shipping agency.
- Strong experience in sea freight, air freight, customs clearance, and logistics operations.
- Experience Required
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in:
- Freight Forwarding (FCL/LCL)
- Shipping Line operations
- NVOCC activities
- Minimum 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience dealing with:
- Main shipping lines (Maersk, CMA CGM, MSC, Hapag-Lloyd, Evergreen)
- Airlines for air cargo.
Responsibilities & Context:
Freight Forwarding
- Handling FCL, LCL, air freight, import/export, and cross-trade shipments.
- Preparing shipping instructions and coordinating with overseas agents.
- Familiar with CFS/ICD operations and stuffing/unstuffing processes.
Shipping Line / NVOCC
- Carrier booking, slot availability, and vessel schedule management.
- Container tracking, yard movement, and return/detention updates.
- Knowledge of free time policies, demurrage/detention, and storage rules.
- Preparing cargo manifest, VGM, and EDI updates.
