Educational Requirements:
∎ University Degree (minimum bachelor degree from a reputed University) in Accounting & MIS/ Financial Management
∎ Age not more than 40 years (unless found highly qualified for the role in question)
∎ At least 4 years of experience in hospitality industry
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Accounts, Audit, Finance, Internal Audit, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Hotel, Resort
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintaining day to day revenue, receivables, payables and expenses and reporting to management
∎ Preparing profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet for senior management
∎ Controlling the payroll
∎ Assisting in preparing budgets and business planning, including projected room revenue
∎ Reconciling bank statements
∎ Producing an accurate set of month-end accounts, with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods
∎ Ensuring legislation is followed regarding VAT and PAYE
∎ Chasing late payments, reporting bad debts and keeping a careful eye on the cash flow
∎ Regular coordination with Project team and other functions including sales and marketing, operations and supply chain
∎ Supporting Management while internal and external audits
∎ Leading company efforts in computerizing the accounting system and data management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Accountancy skills, ideally honed in a hospitality environment
∎ IT knowledge
∎ Data processing skills, including spreadsheet packages
∎ Analytical and communication skills
∎ Unmatched attention to detail as you'll be preparing detailed financial information for senior management
Salary: Tk. 35000 - 40000 (Monthly)
