  • At least Masters in Accounting/ Finance/ Management/ CA course completed No 3rd Class/ Division will be considered for the position.

Responsibilities & Context:

This is a Mid-level Management position for Finance and Accounts. He/she will supervise and assist his/her team members` and will be accountable to the Executive Director, through the finance adviser with regard to all financial and administrative matters related to the project. The Jobholder will work in close contact with the respective programme heads/colleagues. He/she will perform the following tasks in accordance with CAMPE policies and procedures:

  • Prepare journals, data punching into Accounting Software system, post batches on a regular basis, reconcile expenditure, make payments, prepare statements and reports and maintained statutory records.

  • Checking and preparing bank reconciliations monthly and monitoring the same.

  • Checking and validating cash balance periodically with cash ledger/book.

  •  Periodical (monthly/quarterly/ half-yearly/yearly/project completion) financial reporting to donors according to schedule.·       

  • Preparing statutory accounts, e.g. Balance Sheet, Income and Expenditure statements, Receipts and Payments statements, schedules, notes etc. on time.·  

  • Monitor advance against program activities, travel, advance to partner and  parties etc.·       

  • Prepare and review budget, consolidation of budget in line with project plan in participatory way and guidance of the management.·       

  • Ensure timely disbursement of fund as per programme and project need.·      

  • Deduction of tax and VAT at source and deposit into the govt. treasury on time as per guideline of the management.   

  • Preserving related financial documents such as Project Proposal, Approved budgets, Donor Agreements, NGOAB approvals, LoI, Documents of Regulatory Bodies, MoUs and other agreement & contracts project wise as per policies of CAMPE and requirement of donors.·

  • Fill in NGO AB forms (FD/FC) related to new and ongoing projects, prepare NGO AB Reports and replies to NGO AB queries, visit NGO AB office, as and when required and maintain liaison with respective NGO AB staff.

  • Fill in necessary forms for Clearance Certificate for the projects(s) from the DC office. Facilitate visit of DC office representatives from DC office in connection with Clearance Certificate.

  • Preparing necessary File Notes and liaise with Banks as and when required.

  • Coordinate and cooperate with HR, Administration and Finance colleagues to comply with CAMPE policies, procedures and to meet donor’s requirements.   

  • To maintain internal control and check system & CAMPE practice,

  • Consolidation of Projects and Funds Accounts, prepare relevant statements and documents. Facilitate statutory and projects audit. Cooperate with auditors and consultants as and when required.

  • Operate CAMPE’s Financial Reporting Systems (like Sage ERP). Help new and current finance colleagues of finance and administration to operate the system.

  • Ensure submission and settlement of various VAT and Tax Returns and statements and related issues as per law of the land.

  • Supervise team members, support them in performing their work and assess their performance in consultation with concerned senior colleagues.

  • Perform the responsibility following gender policy, safeguarding and child protection policy and other relevant policies of CAMPE, donors and government.

  • Perform any other duty that may be assigned by the management as per requirement of CAMPE.
