∎ JOB PURPOSE: We are searching for a dynamic Deputy Manager to join the Design team within the Social Innovation Lab at BRAC. This position is ideal for a creative thinker with a passion for design thinking methodologies and a solid foundation in project management. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, leading the design and implementation of projects that align with the organization`s mission and objectives. The incumbent will be transforming behavioral insights into new products, services, and experiences that we will design, prototype, and test-then help BRAC programmes take these new solutions to market.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities across the BRAC ecosystem for applying design thinking principles in project design and problem-solving.
∎ Design and facilitate design thinking workshops and sessions to foster innovation and creative problem-solving.
∎ Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
∎ Implement project management best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
∎ Collaborate with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners to ensure project success and impact.
∎ Provide training and mentorship to team members on design thinking methodologies and project management principles.
∎ Contribute to the development of a culture of innovation within the organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Innovative thinking, strategic vision, problem-solving and results-oriented.
∎ Strong project management skills with a demonstrated track record of successful project delivery.
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
∎ Sound knowledge of design thinking methodologies, Project management, NGO sector knowledge, cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.
∎ Learning and collaborative mindset.
∎ Project management, design thinking facilitation, cross-functional collaboration, communication, adaptability.
∎ Minimum 2 years of working experience in the relevant sector. Proven experience in design thinking methodologies and their application in real-world scenarios will get the preference.
